Our mission is to empower Ethiopians and  Ethio-Americans living in Louisiana by giving them opportunities to network, socialize and contribute to their community. ECALA provides platform for children to know and experience the culture. We can achieve our mission with your help.

 

The Association has the following purposes:

 

To develop and nurture friendship, cooperation and social interaction among the Members of the Association.

 

To promote Ethiopian social, cultural, and historical heritage among

The youth of the Association, to motivate them develop and preserve their Ethiopian identity.

 

To enhance and foster the educational accomplishment and integrity of the Ethiopian youth in Louisiana and, to encourage them to prepare intensively for the rapidly growing, technology-driven and competitive global market place.

 

To coordinate the dissemination of social, cultural and other relevant information of common interest among the members of the Association.
